'He sees you when you're sleeping. He knows when you're awake...'
Right on the other side of this building is a giant clock (I'm not sure how I didn't get a picture of it...). It has moving parts that come to life each time the hour changes.
Something I noticed right away was the unique designs and embellishments the buildings in the main square had. They are beautiful!
The view from the window we were seated right next to.
I ordered 'Traditional Czech Goulash with Dumplings'. So good!
The view from our table. The two ladies you see in the corner were so nice and prompt with their service. It's small, but homey. I definitely recommend it!
We arrived in Prague today at about 3 in the afternoon. We checked into our hotel and settled in and then set off, despite the crummy weather, to do some exploring. My host mom lived here for a few months while she was finishing her degree in college so she had a good idea about where to go. We took the tram into the city center and walked around to find a place to eat. A quick search in Google recommended a place called 'U Dvou Sester' or 'At Two Sisters' in English. The few pictures I got of the place don't do it justice. It is so cute! The service was spot on and the food authentic and delicious. We relaxed and enjoyed our meal while trying to dry off a little before heading back into the down pour. A little more walking and then we headed back to the hotel at the request of the kids who had had enough for the day. I am so glad to be here and I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings! Chow!
I can't believe you're in Czechoslovakia!
